Binance Unveils 2020’s Top Five Digital Assets Traded The Most By High Profile Investors
Throughout this year, various digital assets have shown amazing performance and recorded new highs. However, a few digital coins are those that have been prominent in the market. Binance, the world’s largest digital currency exchange in terms of market capitalization has unveiled the names of top crypto assets that have been traded the most by high-profile investors.
Top Five Most-Traded Digital Assets Of 2020
In a blog post on the 21st of December, the leading digital currency exchange Binance has issued a report named “Crypto Trends 2020 On Binance”. In this report, the crypto exchange has revealed the name of the top five digital assets of the current year traded by those users who used the over-the-counter (OTC) trading platform of the exchange.
These five digital currencies include the largest cryptocurrency in the world by market value Bitcoin (BTC), the world’s second-largest digital currency by market cap Ethereum (ETH), the native digital currency of Ripple XRP, Binance Coin (BNB), and Cardano (ADA). Bitcoin and Ether are ranked first and second respectively on CoinMarketCap in terms of market capitalization. XRP is holding the third spot. While on the other hand, ADA and BNB are standing at the eighth and ninth spot respectively.
Apart from disclosing the names of top-traded crypto assets, the crypto exchange also revealed the top futures trading pairs by volume on its trading platform as well. There are three trading pairs that were very popular among traders on Binance’s trading platform. These include BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT, and LINK/USDT.
Entire Cryptocurrency Market Capitalization Tripled This Year
The overall cryptocurrency market capitalization has also witnessed potential growth. When this year started, the market cap was standing at around $193 billion, according to the report of Binance. However, now it has surged high to jump above the figure of $640 billion around where it is standing at the moment.
